The United Methodist Women is a worldwide organization of sisters in Christ, dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus through the funding of and participation in service ministries.
The UMW chapater at Christ Church automatically includes all women of the church, whether or not they are able to be active in the organization.

In addition to making grants and gifts to support various projects, the women provide funeral luncheons for families and friends mourning the loss of a loved one. The Prayer Chain ministry, also blesses those remembered in prayer as well as those who bring petitions before the Lord.

Being a member of UMW is not all hard work. Bonds of friendship are formed that last a lifetime. There are times for celebration too, such as the annual picnic, Christmas party, Mothers-Daughters & Friends Banquet and the Ham and Bean dinner.
