Adult Sunday School9:45 a.m. Here is a list of adult Sunday School Class descriptions and class locations. Feel free to try more than one to find the perfect fit for your spiritual walk. There are also classes and childcare available from ages birth through the 12th grade. Fellowship: Pat Mace leads this study and discussion-based class built around the classic United Methodist quarterly material. Mostly senior citizens. Meets in B9. Marriage ETC: Led by Steve Heitkamp this class focuses on marriage and family relationships. It is structured for the young, not so young, individuals, or couples. Discussions revolve around ways to be the best spouse, friend, and parent. Meets in C2. More Information Not So Young and Not So Married - Brad and Debbie Watkins lead this class for couples and singles who seek to better connect their lives and families to the will of God. All ages are welcome. Meets in B8. Paul's Journey : Led by Jim Oppedal for all ages, this discussion-based class looks at books of the Old Testament and how they relate to our lives as Christians. Starting January we will be studying Paul, his journeys and his writings and applying his teachings to today's life. Meets in A4. P. B. by J. (People Blessed by Jesus) - Larry and Nancy Weber lead this class discussing the Bible and applying the principles of grace to their lives. All ages are welcome. Meets in A1. People Fishers: Led by Rev Shane and Melissa Bishop this in an informally led Bible study. It is open to all ages and stages. Meets in the gym. Seekers: Led by Connie Shelton this class looks at current events and discusses hot topics, using scripture to evaluate today’s world. Meets in the education office in the gym. Sonlight: This class taught by Rick Reed is a lecture and discussion group on topics pertaining to your Christian walk. Starting Dec 2, we begin studying the book of John. Al though a large class, it has the feeling of fellowship with many social activities and small group gatherings. Ages 20 – 90. Meets in the chapel.
Spanish Class: Christina Montenez leads this Spanish speaking class discussing Bible scriptures and life applications. Open to all Spanish speaking ages that wish to attend. Meets in the vestry/study hall. Sullaleo: (“to commune or talk together”): Samantha Allard facilitates this foundational Bible Study which transitions between topical Bible Studies on different books of the Bible. For this class it is helpful to bring your Bible and a notebook/paper to take notes. All ages are welcome. Meets in CEPIM office in the gym. Tree of Life: Led by Judy Forsythe this class uses a video series and workbook to personally discuss current women’s issues. Meets in the library. Young Adults: Mark and Mary Ann Turner lead this class for college age through ages 30, single or married. The focus is scripture based with practical life application. Discussions are stimulating and promote personal growth and fellowship. The class also enjoys sharing time for fun and friendship. Meets in A3.
