What is Awana?
Awana is a ministry to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ and the training to serve the Lord to young children and teenagers. The acronym, AWANA, comes from the first letters of these words from 2 nd Timothy 2:15: “Approved workmen are not ashamed.”

Why Do Kids Love Awana?

The answer in one word: fun!

Awana is a blast for kids from pre-school to junior high.

Awana is open to all kids from age 3 through the 8th grade. High school youth, as well as adults, are valuable assistants both as role models and as workers helping the young children.
